Craig Shepard creates music related to stillness, often outside. Through writing music, curating concerts, producing CDs, and realizing sound projects, he invites people to live in the beauty of the sounds that they move through in their day to day lives.

Essential to a continued creative practice, Shepard is dedicated to building, nurturing, and maintaining communities. Collaborations with organizations Wandelweiser, Music for Contemplation, and Indexical continue to inspire. Sharing experience through Creating Music Together workshops and retreats, and composer mentoring strengthens continued work.
